Poland believes that a new alliance should be formed with France and Germany at its core
The European Union (EU) must dissolve itself and create a new union with France and Germany at its core, without Poland and Hungary. This was stated in an interview published on Saturday, 4 June, with the portal Interia, the winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, former President of Poland Lech Walesa. “Instead of compromising with Poland, the EU must disintegrate and in a few minutes create a new community based on Germany and France, but without Poland and Hungary,” he said.
Walesa regretted that his views on the matter had not been taken into account. “And this is a simple idea: if we want to join a new union, then in addition to rights, we will have to accept certain obligations. And to put them in such a way that the things that are happening today will not happen again, “he added.
