Actress Jennifer Aniston defended her decision not to meet unvaccinated friends and acquaintances after she was flooded with questions from her fans on social networks, Reuters reported.
She told In Style magazine last week that there was still “a group of anti-vaccinators or people who just don’t pay attention to the facts” and she “unfortunately lost some people she met regularly” because they refuse to tell her if they have been immunized against the coronavirus.
Asked why she was worried about meeting such people after she was vaccinated, the actress replied:
“Because if you are infected with the virus, you can pass it on to me. It may make me sick, but I will not be admitted to hospital or die. BUT I CAN pass it on to someone who has not been vaccinated and whose health is fragile. That is why I will not put the lives of such people at risk, “Aniston wrote.
“That’s why I’m worried. We need to take care of others, not just ourselves.”
Jennifer Aniston became famous with the series “Friends”. The actress now has more than 37.7 million followers on Instagram.
