The initial ideas were to stop the change of time in 2019, but it never happened. In September 2018, the European Commission came up with a proposal to move the hands for the last time in 2019, with different countries choosing by March whether they want to stay in astronomical time or summer time. Why do we still stop time? There is no consensus between countries on when and whether to stop changing the time.
This means that we will have 1 hour more to sleep, but on the other hand, the day will begin to decrease and darken earlier.
That’s when we change the clock this fall. Time change 2021:
The last time we had to turn the hands was in March 2021 or October 2021, depending on whether we were going to stay in summer time or astronomical time, that is, winter time. The relocation of the arrows to Europe was introduced in 1976 at the request of France. In Great Britain, however, it has been applied since 1908.
In which countries is there a change of time? See the map:
The blue states in the northern hemisphere and the orange states in the southern hemisphere change the time to summer and winter. The light gray countries used the change of time, but at some point gave up. The countries in dark gray have never changed the time.
