Eight people were injured, seven of them children. The perpetrator himself died of blood loss, law enforcement officials said. The former graduate, Vladislav Struzhenkov, became interested in computer games, including shooting games. He also loved thrillers, and one of his favorite movies was the Killer Puzzle series. The former high school student planned an attack during the morning prayer, but the improvised explosive device exploded at the entrance. Investigative sources say the young man was carrying a machete-like melee weapon.
The Governor of the Moscow Region, Andrei Vorobyov, added that the lives of children are now not in danger.
