Georgian Patriarch Elijah II sent a congratulatory letter to Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew on the 30th anniversary of his enthronement, which is celebrated on November 2.

In his letter Patriarch Elijah II wrote that for thirty years H. All Holiness Bartholomew I “bears the burden of great responsibility and honor. Being the head of the Patriarchate of Constantinople has always been difficult and difficult. ” He assured his elder brother that “… we will always remember the support you have given to the Church of Georgia for many years, and we hope that with God’s help our fraternal and friendly relations will deepen.”
