His Holiness Bulgarian Patriarch Daniil was present in the National Assembly during the voting and swearing-in of the new, 107th, government of the country. Before entering the Parliament hall, Patriarch Daniil commented on the new government to the media and noted that the Prime Minister is responsible not only to the National Assembly and the people, but also to God.

“The Prime Minister is also a servant of God. These responsibilities that are assumed are not only to the National Assembly and the people, but also to God for the implementation of God’s will in society to have lawfulness, care and justice for all people”. We pray that God will help them to fulfill what they will promise, the Patriarch concluded.
