Self-proclaimed Ghanaian prophet Ebo Noah is in the spotlight, especially on social media, for building a modern-day Noah’s Ark. After starting out as a social media sensation and the subject of public ridicule, Ebo Noah has gone on to share several TikTok videos in which he can be seen cutting wood and gradually building his arks. Explaining his motive for building them, Ebo Noah claims that God warned him that the world would end on December 25, 2025, which coincides with Christmas.
Describing his vision, he states that God will bring great destruction, with heavy rains and floods devastating the land. He further explains that God ordered him to build the arks to save souls who desire to be saved, just as described in the biblical story of Noah and the flood.
Vision from God
In many of his videos, Ebo is filmed examining boats or building materials, claiming to have built ten arks. In a clip titled “What Will Happen and How Will It Happen,” posted on YouTube in August, Ebo claims to have received a divine vision from God, who told him it would rain for three years starting on December 25. His plan is to live on one of his arks for three years during the predicted massive flood.
Ebo Noah’s ark construction has attracted both local and global attention, with his videos garnering millions of views and comments on social media. However, his arks appear smaller in size compared to Noah’s Ark described in the Bible. Meanwhile, in a separate video, Ebo Noah said he had begun a three-day fast and prayer to intercede for the world, Ghana Web reported.
