UN Trust Fund for Victims of Human Trafficking Announces 10 NGO Projects Selected for Comprehensive Support to Victims of Human Trafficking under Sub-Grant Programme 2 of the 5th Grant Cycle
Vienna (Austria), 2 November 2021 – The UN Voluntary Trust Fund for Victims of Human Trafficking (UNVTF), managed by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), has announced the results of its fifth call for proposals under sub-grant programme two of its small grants programme.
The grant programme focused on the provision of medium-term direct assistance to vulnerable victims of trafficking in persons in or fleeing from imperative crisis scenarios, including COVID-19.
In total, 10 NGO projects from 10 countries that provide emergency aid to human trafficking survivors globally have been selected for award, totaling approximately USD 0.6 million in grants.

The competition was steep, with close to 400 applications received over 60 countries worldwide.
