RIA Novosti reports that in Moscow the laureates of the International Culture Online Prize were announced on Monday during a broadcast on the award’s portal, among them the Tretyakov Gallery’s project My Tretyakov, the Internet project of the State Hermitage Hermitage Online, Mobile Art Theater of the creative studio History future “.
The list of finalists with the highest number of points included 35 projects.
The laureates in the category “Best educational project” were “My Tretyakov Gallery”, “Cultural Gamification” – “Mobile Art Theater” of the creative studio “History of the Future”, “Digital Transformation: From Offline to Online” – Online 20th ASSITEJ World Congress on Theater for Children, organized by the International Association of Theater for Children and Young People.
[AR] T Museum, organized by Cuseum, was announced the winner in the category “Best IT Solution for the Cultural Sphere”. And the “Best Collaboration” was the “Film” Cast “project, organized by the international festival Context. Diana Vishneva together with the Pushkin Museum and the Aksenov Family Foundation. The Best Online Project was the Marathon of World Youth Orchestras (organized by the Russian Concert Agency), the second place in the nomination was taken by the International Online Theater Festival (organized by TheTheatreTimes.com), the third – the Hermitage Online Internet project of the State Hermitage.
Also, the Russian Cultural Fund established an additional nomination “Special Prize of the Russian Cultural Fund”, its laureate was the project “Cathedral: Hidden Signs and Secret Doors. VR Tour”, which appeared as a result of cooperation between the Cathedral in Kaliningrad and the Franema team.
The expert council included eight cultural figures, media representatives, experts in strategic communications, in particular, musician, conductor, People’s Artist of the Russian Federation Yuri Bashmet, chief architect of Moscow Sergei Kuznetsov, director of the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts Marina Loshak, rector of the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts named after Ilya Repin, Honored Art Worker of the Russian Federation Semyon Mikhailovsky and others.
The International Culture Online Award was first established in 2020 in connection with the accelerated development of digitalization among cultural institutions and with the aim of encouraging cultural institutions that have carried out or are carrying out their activities online or using IT technologies. In 2021, the award presupposes the awarding of the best projects in the field of culture with implementation from November 1, 2020. The organizer of the international award “Culture Online” in 2021 is the Russian Cultural Foundation.
